Paid subscription/free trial on LingQ - does is work for the app and desktop versions?

Ok so I already have a LingQ account but today I downloaded the app on my tablet. I have some questions about the paid subscription/free trial. In the app, it says I can have 7 days free if I go with the monthly subscription. I would like to know, if I go for this option, will the free trial and subscription work on my desktop computer too? Because when I try to subscribe via my desktop, it doesn’t give me the option of a 7 day free trial.

Thanks.

Same question here.

@Neilkenlang, murilodumpsfinger - Sorry for the delayed response. We somehow missed this original post. Yes, upgrading anywhere gives you access everywhere. There is a 7-day trial on mobile but currently not on web. We are looking at enabling that option on the web as well in the future.

In the meantime, if you want to upgrade on the web and get a trial, you can do so using this coupon - ft2019a.

*Note: You will have to check out using the PayPal payment option. You can still use a credit card there but the main credit card payment option won’t let you have the trial.
** In fact, we would rather you upgrade on the web since Apple or Google take 30% of all upgrades through their platforms. :stuck_out_tongue: PayPal and credit card companies take much less.

I would like to upgrade from monthly on Apple to a yearly plan on web. How do I do that?

All you need to do is to cancel your currently active iTunes subscription (Here’s how you can do that: If you want to cancel a subscription from Apple - Apple Support), then upgrade to a yearly plan on the web.
When you do that, you can contact us on support(at)lingq.com and we will check your account to make sure everything is set properly.
