I cannot agree more with that, Berta. That is why, I no longer use public requests, but personal ones.
I don’t answer to open requests, only to personal requests because of this. And I often wonder how learners should decide which answer the best one is and who deserves the points. I put a lot of effort in corrections and even the recommended points are low compared to the time corrections take. This is a problem of languages like German with a lot of cases and inflections. They usually need much more corrections than writings in English.
That makes perfect sense Veral, but how a new subcriber can figure out how your corrections suit his needs?
I guess most German learners know me
