No import of text

@zoran

Since yesterday(?) I can no longer import texts (.txt, .docx etc.) into lessons, neither under iOS nor under Windows in the browser.

Could you please have a look.

FWIW I just imported a French novel as a TXT file and it seems fine.

I use Calibre to convert an EPUB or PDF to TXT and import that.

Thanks for the tip. As it turns out, the problem only exists with one specific text, a transcript of a podcast. I have sent the files to support for review, but have not yet received a response. However, I am slowly getting to the bottom of the “bug” myself. And it has nothing to do with the format of the text, but rather with its content.

Up to now, you could create a lesson simply by assigning a title, uploading a text and, if necessary, the mp3 file of the podcast. The text was not automatically translated during import. This seems to have changed, at least I just noticed it. Hence the initial message about the AI taking some time. But this is where things start to go wrong: The AI seems to stop on my text and the import fails.

Unfortunately, I don’t see any way to disable automatic translation during import (I don’t need it). But maybe I’m missing something.

@zoran
I look forward to any further advice.
