A new version of the iOS app went up yesterday and finally includes the much anticipated ability to manage your lessons on the app. Now, when you tap and hold on any lesson tile you will see a list of options for that lesson.
Options include:
Remove or Unsave that lesson
Add/Remove lessons from your Playlist
View all lessons in the course
Like the lesson so it shows in the Feed for other users
Manage your reading and listening times
As you could before, you can still see lesson information as well.
There were a bunch of other more minor modifications but we wanted to mention this significant add-on since it may escape notice otherwise. As always, tell us what you think!
Dear , ı can not fix my lesson button on Iphone Applicaton even though ı can do it on my computer. Is it awaken issue or ıt is occured just on my Iphone Application ? Thanks for your interest.
Hi ceta96,
We are not familiar with that issue, everything works properly on our end. What exactly doesn’t work for you? Are you unable to click on “My Lessons” tab?
Question: How does the Remove/Save function work? What gets saved and what gets removed? I’m testing it but don’t see what happens when I click it.
What would be great is a way to load and save lessons for offline use with click a button like that, but that doesn’t seem to be what this is doing, unless I’m doing it wrong.
@t_harangi - When you take a lesson from the Feed or the Library it is “Saved” and added to My Lessons. If you Remove it you are removing it from My Lessons and it is no longer saved. You can also tap and hold on lessons in the Library to Save them without actually opening them.
Saving doesn’t affect offline use. Audio for Playlist lessons is downloaded automatically but to interact with the text, you need to open the lesson while online first. It’s not a bad idea to add an option to “Download lesson” in the lesson options here. Will add that to the wishlist.

Right now, the only way to access your LingQs of the Day is through the Notifications. Swipe right on the Home screen or tap on the the menu icon with the red notifications number at top left and go to the Notifications page to find your daily notifications.
Thanks for the reply. However, even though my setting is getting the email and the notification, I haven’t got the LingQ of the Day notification almost 2 years. So I can’t browse it by the way you instructed on the app. As for email, I got it every day. Could you check that ?
@kenosaka - That seems quite strange. Do you see any of your notifications in the notifications list on the app? Forum comments etc…? Can you send a screenshot of what you see in your Notifications page to support so we can follow up?
@kenosaka - Also, please check your notifications on the web and see if the LingQs of the Day notifications appear there. Let support know if you see them on the web.
I sent two screenshots to the support page. I tried to uncheck and check the notification sending box. Then I got only one notification of 11 months old on the webpage but not on the app. But after that I haven’t got any. I mean I got the only one old notification. Now I still haven’t any LingQ of the day notifications.
