Is there any plan for Lingq to release a feature to watch YouTube videos with dual subtitles, where I can create Lingqs without having to leave the video, similar to how it works in systems like Language Reactor?
I’m not familiar with Language Reactor. But I have always been frustrated with how this works on Lingq as well. That is why I often create lingqs on my phone while playing the same video on my TV. But that means it’s not counting towards my listening. So I have to try to remember to add the listening time to lingq. But I don’t always so my statistics are not reflecting my actual time spent.
I remember some conversation in the past on here about there being issues with YouTube not being able to count watch time for their platform when used on Lingq in some ways? Maybe that has something to do with it. Or maybe I don’t really know what the issue is. I would think it could be made to work somehow.
I guess practically it might be difficult to organize everything that would need to fit on the screen for the mobile app. Text. Video. You click and the definition pops up. It could be too much. But maybe a feature available only on PC would be nice.
