Beginner

  • In the morning, listen to the entire audio of a lesson and make mental notes of what you understand.
  • Later in the day, go through the lesson's text, LingQing words you don't know. And ask yourself if your understanding of the content has changed after reading through the lesson.
  • After completing the lesson, review the new LingQs you created and add the lesson audio to your playlist.
Listen to your playlist whenever you have spare time, like going for a walk or driving.

And if you so wish, occasionally review the vocabulary that is up for review according to the Spaced Repetition System (SRS Review).

Pro tip:
We suggest creating a hard playlist and an easy playlist. So new lessons should be added to the hard playlist, and once they become easy after multiple listens, you can move them into the easy playlist. And then listen to the easy playlist on 1.5-2x speed to improve your listening skills (as many native speakers tend to speak much faster than the lesson audio is played).
