Finally I had some inspiration to create easy Dutch lessons, for which there seems some demand.

I hope people enjoy my first eight lessons!

Hi Silvia
Thanks for the easy Dutch lessons. I’m a complete beginner and I really apreciate that. I have a question and I’m afraid I can’t ask it in Dutch.
What are the Dutch verbs for teaching and learning? How would you say:

I teach Portuguese and I’m learning Dutch.

For Fernanda:
Ik geef Portugese les en ik leer Nederlands.
A school teacher could even say more compact:
Ik geef Portugees.
A school teacher could say in a more formal way (E.g. secondary school teacher, or university level):
Ik doceer Portugees en ik leer Nederlands.

I added some lessons with those phrases. If you have more questions, you can ask.

Yes, I will make an effort to get Dutch a fully supported language. If it is true that only about one hour of beginner lessons is missing, it should be possible.

I hope that the LingQ staff can start preparing Dutch as a fully supported language, and just let me know what is still missing, because I would find it very annoying if Dutch disappeared from the interface only because say, 15 minutes of beginner lessons is missing.
