There is a new bug today when you select a word some other random word gets selected. So the definitions that popup are from some other word. Not the one you click on.
If you select a blue word and then use the arrow keys to move through the page it just jumps to random unhighlighted words.
yes this is really annoying. I have a 3rd party dictionary that correctly tells me the definition but when i click the word its completely different on lingQ This is literally the function of the site and it doesn’t work
Pro + user here. I am having the problem outlined by u/jjacks303. As others have said, this is the core function of LingQ. So effectively, LingQ is down till this is fixed.
thought this problem was only happening on my old computer, but it is occurring on both my new and old computers. I think this issue started about a week ago. At first, refreshing the page allowed me to continue studying, but yesterday and today the problem has become much worse. Now I have to refresh the page constantly.
If LingQ cannot maintain its basic functionality, I do not think it is worth paying for a service like this.
I am having the same issue today and it’s very difficult to use. I find that I have to repeatedly close and open the program in order to see if the words have been accurately LingQ’d. Please fix this asap.
I also made a post a few days before this one about 5 other bugs in the reader. The arrow key stops working every other page, paging moves to known stops working every few pages etc…
Those bugs are all still there. Here’s a link to that thread.
Hello zoran.
Can you reveal roughly which month the new reader will be released?
Also, how long will it take for the iOS app to be updated with the new video playback mode found on Android?
