Hi I’ve been learning Russian since I was thirteen. when I got a teacher late last year they announced I was at A2 in Russian I was thrilled to know I had someone confirm where I was I have always been so thrilled to learn new things. But it’s been some time now and I been doing my research and I think I’m B1 now. I can write in Russian but google says I directly translate my sentences which puts me at A2 then I ask it to make paragraphs that are A2 and it’s easy. How do I find out where I’m at in Russian? I listed a sample of my writings.

Copy and paste your text into ChatGPT (a free AI tool) and ask it, “How would you rate my writing based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)?” You can also ask, “Does my writing sound formal or informal?”
About a week ago, I was talking to my youngest brother in our native language, Urdu. He was speaking very naturally, so I mentally noted parts of our conversation and later asked ChatGPT to rate the language level. It rated the conversation at a B2 level and described the word choice as informal—which was exactly what I had expected.
What I like is that it gives you a fairly solid evaluation of your language ability.
