I created this example by typing the text you see above in an empty test lesson, after noticing this problem in a previously imported lesson.
I’ve just recreated it and the problem is still occuring:

Hi @alainravet1 ! Thank you for the feedback.
The thing is that in the example you provided, the words “from” and “to” on different lines belong to different sentences. Therefore, they cannot be highlighted as a multi-word LingQ.
You can check this in the lesson editor: once these words are placed within the same sentence, they will be highlighted as a phrase LingQ.
I’m 99% sure multi-word lingqs used to be highlighted when they started at end of a sentence and ended at the beginning of the next one.
Can anybody in/confirm this?
This is much needed, f.ex, with lessons based on YouTube subtitles that usually break sentences across multiple short lines.
