How long does the average member on LingQ stay on the Beginner 1 level? How many lingQs, known words, and lessons learned did you complete before moving on?
I just got a little message flash up saying my avatar had grown to Beginner 2 at 655 known words.
I know it’s not an absolute science, but it does give you a nice sense of satisfaction and makes you feel like you’re progressing! 
That’s cool. I’ve managed to make it to 100 words. How often do you study each day? With the progress you’ve made, do you still have to look up the meaning of every word you read or can you
understand most of what you read without thinking too much?
I’m working part-time at the moment, so I have a lot of free time to study. I study off and on for about two hours every day using this course and Pimsleur for listening and speaking practice. I do my SRS flash cards every day and I review texts I’ve previously studied. It is a very nice feeling to be able to go back over the first texts I ever read and find that I now understand them completely both by reading them and also just by listening to the dialogue!
