I checked out the latest video from Moses, and now he has been trying the input-focus approach with his Italian.
He has been promoting his FLR method, in which learners are encouraged to learn to converse right at the beginning. But now he seems to be experimenting with the idea of delayed speaking and focusing on initial reading/listening activities.
I think this is another win for the input-focus camp against the speak-from-day-1 camp.
