Missing download option in some playlists

I have imported some lessons from YouTube and added them to a playlist. When I view the playlist on my iPhone, the download icon is not shown. If I choose the “Download Lessons” menu option, nothing happens, even though my internet connection is working just fine. The “Remove files” option remains stuck at “Zero KB”.

This does not happen on every playlist/lesson, so far only seems to impact lessons that I created myself from YouTube podcasts.

Is there a known limitation here? Something I need to enable on my imported lesson? Do I need to set the lesson to “Shared” or “External” (not sure what “External” means..)

I will try setting a lesson to “Shared” and see what happens… but I guess that takes time for approval. If anyone has the answer, would appreciate it!

Thanks!

Do these lessons have audio available, or you only have video in them?

Video only I guess? I imported these from YouTube using the Lingq browser extension. I did not think that would be an issue as this feature seems to work for other YouTube based lessons that I got from the shared Lingq Library (such as https://www.lingq.com/en/learn/ja/web/reader/36066444).

Though I see now that lesson which allows downloading ( Login - LingQ ) does have an audio only version as well as the video. I didn’t realize that… I wonder how hard it is to get an audio only track for imported YouTube lessons.
