Messed up Japanese words prononciation

I use Lingq for two days now and I have some problems with some Japanese words.
Sometimes, on flashcards or when I select a word in a text, the linked audio is completely weird and wrong.
Sometimes, it reads each Kanji as if they were alone and not the word.
Last example I encountered: the word for friendly 友好的 (ゆうこうてき) was pronounced as ともよいてき (or something like that). It’s quite annoying for an app used to learn language to give the wrong sound for a word…
I suppose that is generated with AI but please, please, check the AI content.

This also happens with the word “boku”. It consistently gets pronounced “watashi”. These are conceptually related words, but definitely completely different words. One example can be found here: 11 - 楽しい 旅行 に も たくさん 行ける し

I’d say the error here is the opposite. The audio is correct but the Kanji is wrong. 僕 is man speech, and the person speaking there is a woman. So it should be 私, I guess. It’s frustrating nevertheless.

It’s adviceable to use content created by natives, only. (There are tons of language podcasts on youtube, for example, often with japanese subtitles).

True enough! I wasn’t listening to the gender of the speaker, just noticing the word was mispronounced. Regardless, it is consistently mispronounced regardless of the speaker’s gender.
