I just received a message saying I had lost my streak even though I still have over 6 hours left of the day and met the goal yesterday.
Am I missing something?

Just a suggestion: Have you checked on the time zone in your settings? Mine has changed randomly a couple of times.
The same thing happened to me. I’ve lost my streak, but I can see that I’ve met my goal every day when I go to the screen that pops up after marking a lesson complete. Can anyone please fix?
