I might just be not very gifted at searching for content, but I seem unable to find current news affairs (in basically any language). At the moment I am focusing on Russian, and would like to read the Russian news. But all the feeds are like from years ago (e.g. Radio Echo: News from 2014). That is neither very interesting nor very helpful, as there are other relevant topics now. Even in the import section the stuff looks old, most days. How can I search for current affairs, or where do I find good material to import?

Try to search for daily news for children in Russian. There might be something a bit easier to study.
