Long standing Chinese punctuation parsing bug - please help!

Hoping to get a fix to a parsing bug that has been bothering me for a long time. When you copy and paste text into a lesson, if there is a Chinese unicode closing quote on the end of the sentence followed by a newline, the Lingq parsing deletes it. This is really a pain because it also deletes the newline that comes after it. What happens as a result is that text with dialogue gets really confusing because its missing closing quotes, and the next sentence that would have otherwise been on a new line (indicating a new thought, speaker, etc) runs on from the previous sentence.

As best I can tell, this is happening when the time stamp placeholders that get inserted for sentence mode take place.

Seems like it should be simple to fix. Please help!
