LingQ Youtube importer cuts and throws away the script after certain amount of words

According to my memory, there was a hard limit on the number of words in a LingQ lecture but now it seems to be removed (Now, I can contain quite long text in a lesson manually). However, it seems that LingQ importer (YouTube) still has this limit.
When I import long YouTube videos (more than 30mins) in LingQ with the importer, the lesson only contains a certain number of front words in the full script. I think this is due to the hard word limit set in the importer, so please ease this limit or remove it plz.
Currently I manually extract Youtube subscripts and regenerate the lesson with this one and it’s quite annoying.
I don’t think it is super hard problem. Thx

I agree. I find myself more and more using YouTube directly, and not LingQ, for exactly that reason. And actually YouTube is more pleasurable to use, it doesn’t have all of the bugs that LingQ enjoys. Plus the video is bigger.

Check out this addon I made to improve the video lesson experience.
It functions quite well and solves most of the problems I experienced.
