've just signed up for a premium membership and I have to say that whilst the idea of Lingq is great the implementation is really poor. The interface is difficult to use and to top it off the website is now not loading despite me having no issues with connectivity, clearing cache, trying multiple browsers. I couldn’t even post this on my computer I’m on my phone and even then I can’t type on the webpage and have had to paste this in.
Are updates in sight? The app isn’t cheap so this is really disappointing.
Sorry to hear that. We were running quick update earlier today, maybe you tried to access the site at that time. Should be all back to normal now, please give it another try.
No not working on Chrome or Edge, and I even downloaded Firefox. The site is totally unusable. Again having to paste this response in because the mobile site, while better than the desktop at the moment, won’t let me type.
Can you please try to clear your browser’s cache and then give it another try?
tried that multiple times yesterday and today. But the website has just randomly started working again without me needing to delete.
Hi Zoran…as i said in a recent email to you, i feel it would be beneficial to have announcements about scheduled maintenance to prevent these situations from arising. A quick post from you or someone else on the team on the forum would have saved me and others hours of frustration this morning.
This kind of updates aren’t really huge updates, they basically take a few minutes. Unfortunately after last night’s update it turned out that some users had to clear cache to have things back to normal and we apologize for that.
For serious and updates which take more time, we do always announce them on the forum and social media.
