LingQ app freezes whenever I attempt to play a playlist. (iPad)

The play button will not work for any of my playlists. Whenever I press play, the entire LingQ app freezes for my iPad. The playlists work fine on my iPhone. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the app, restarting my iPad. There’s no new update for LingQ or my iOS.

@ncdm92kx2g What app version you have installed?

Version 6.0.2 (9). It was strange because it was working yesterday. One of my playlists finished playing. I went to select another playlist and tapped play and it froze. From that point, it freezes whenever I try playing.

Now the issue is happening with my iPhone as well. The same version. Sometimes it will finish one track in the playlist, then stop the playlist altogether. Then when I press play, it will freeze the entire app. Very few tracks will work. The majority of them will not work. I don’t believe that the audio tracks are corrupt because all of them work on the PC version for me while using the playlist.

Same here with iPhone.

Sometimes the playlist works, but it’ll freeze after it attempts to jump to the next track

The playlists have been working fine with LingQ in the Safari version of it. That’s what I’ve been using until the next update fixes this issue.

I have the same problem! I’m on iPhone, though. Latest version of everything. I have been trying it all morning, and it just freezes. I deleted the app and re-installed it, just to make double-dog certain that I have the newest app version, and even after re-installing and logging in fresh to the app, it doesn’t work.

I sent a message to support about it.

It still works online, by going to lingq.com in a browser, both on my iPhone and on my laptop — but the app itself is broke, broke, broken. As soon as I tap on “Playlists” in the lower-right corner, the app freezes, and won’t respond to anything at all.

We pushed an app update with a fix for the mentioned issue. Please update the app and the problem will be gone. Thanks!
