LingQ App -- Android vs iOS

I need a new tablet as my very old iPad has finally decided to break. My main use for the iPad was LingQ, reading and listening when I was commuting etc.

Anyway, I was considering other tablets, and I wanted to know which of the LingQ apps performs best/receives quicker updates: the Android app or the iOS app? It’s important that I use the appp and not the browser, as the app allowed me to read, lingq and listen offline

I use Android App v. 4.5.1 (236)
It works well online and offline.
I do not allow automatic updates, that’s why it work during many months without any problems :wink:
