I just gave it a good try, it being a direct competitor…
What i’ve learned
It supports Netflix and Youtube
It costs 10 euros a month and has caps on translation, transcribe and audio generation
Word level translations are not available and need to translate line by line
Supports 5 languages
The website is very professional and the on-boarding is really nice. Could be a serious competitor, but isn’t offering anything past what Language Reactor does.
In comparison with LingQ you get unlimited word translations, lingqs, sentence translations, transcribes… So there really is no comparison right now. LingQ is #1 and Rooster Tools also #1!
