Learning Uzbek

I’m learning Russian, and I’m far enough along to converse at a basic level. But I’m seeing the need to also learn at least some level of Uzbek so I can better communicate with my neighbors and folks who work in my neighborhood (in Russia). Can any of you point me to some good online resources to get started in Uzbek? I’m not seeing anything on LingQ. Thank you.

At least, you can start learning Turkish. The Turkic languages are very close to each other, even more than Slavic or Roman languages.
I was born in Central Asia (Tukmenistan) and now I am learning Turkish and I remember a lot of words from my childhoot, like “et, su, kara, dag, yok” etc.
