Some good new channels I didn’t know about. Go raibh maith agat.

Just to point out for new learners of Irish here that not all the presenters mentioned in this post are native Irish speakers. As a result, not all pronunciations are accurate. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend learning your Irish from them. Best sources are on RnaG (Irish national radio) or TG4 (Irish national Television)

  1. Molly uses Ulster dialect
  2. Dean uses urban/school ‘dialect’
  3. Tuairisc has native speakers
  4. Úna-Minh uses Munster dialect
  5. Bloc uses native speakers
  6. Ben from Bitesize is a native Munster speaker

For Connaught (West Of Ireland) Irish: Ros na Rún

For Ulster (North of Ireland) Irish:

For Munster (South of Ireland) Irish (Daithí Ó Sé):

For correct Standardised Irish listen to Pádraig in the 60 LingQ stories.

I have had a lot of luck with videos from Cula4. How long for a language to stay in Beta ? I am curious because I know once the audio upload /transcriber is made available, my acquisition will skyrocket.
