Le malheur des uns fait le bonheur des autres (in English, we say...)

There is a saying in French that sounds like this: Le malheur des uns fait le bonheur des autres.

Then, could you, English native-speakers, who master French language, help me with the correct translation or indeed the equivalent of this in English?

BTW, everyone who knows this is welcome to help.

There are other variants but this is the way I’d translate it: One man’s misery is another man’s joy

The site LINGUEE has a few tranlations: one man’s loss is another man’s gain / one brand’s pain is another’s gain / one man’s poison is another man’s meat / one person’s progress is another’s catastophe / one persons’s joy can often mean another’s despair … etc.
