Although it is a theoretically dead language, it would be great to have access to audio generation for Latin texts, in both classical and ecclesiastical pronunciation. Currently, there is a considerable movement advocating for immersive approaches to Latin that use audio materials. It would be excellent if we could count on that here at LingQ as well. Since Eleven Labs supports the language, perhaps it wouldn’t be so difficult to offer the TTS feature here.

Would you mind telling us exactly where you found Elevenlabs Latin voices? We don’t see any at first glance.

My bad! I had “found” it here: https://elevenlabs.io/voice-library/latin

but it’s a mistake. Even if the description says “Bring classical language content to life with AI-generated Latin voices” the voice samples are simply in Latin American Spanish.

In this case, unfortunately, maybe it is not so simple to offer this tool here. Any ideas?
