Vidím, že jsou nekteřé lídi na LingQu, kteře studují čestinu, ale myslím, že většina není moc aktivně. Proto chtěla bych se zeptat tady kdo ještě studuje češtinu a také bylo by zajimavé vedět proč studujíte češtinu a jak dlouho už studujíte ten jazyk?

Učím se každý den. Vyčerpám se, když mluvím česky. Trápí mě to. Proto se učím, abych mluvil s lehkostí. Začal jsem v prosinci 2008. Přestal jsem brzy, protože jsem stále zapomenul na téměř všechna slova. Pokročil jsem v dubnu 2011, když jsem věděl lépe jak si zapamatovat.

Ty říklady jsou správně. Nejlépe bych to vysvětlil asi takto:
Přestat znamená skončit neplánovaně, dřív, než by se mělo, nečekaně. Například počítač mi funguje a najednou přestane fungovat = pokazí se.
Na druhou stranu, když něco skončí, tak to znamená, že to dosáhlo svého konce. Například v televizi běží film a ten po hodině skončí - přirozeně, protože ho vytvořili tak dlouhý.

Ještě mě napadlo, že někdo přestane něco dělat většinou protože se tak rozhodl - i ta zlobivá holčička přestane z vlastní vůle, protože nechce být potrestaná.
Kdežto když něco skončí, tak to většinou nezáleží na nás, je to na nás nezávislé.
Ale neplatí to tak vždycky, jsou to jen taková obecná pravidla, která mě napadla. Normálně nad tím člověk nepřemýšlí a použije to, co mu příjde vhodnější 
Já jsem se třeba nad tím nikdy dřív nezamýšlel.
Koukám, že už tu jsou nějaké příklady uvedené. Jak psal Petr, normálně nad tím člověk vůbec nepřemýšlí, jak, co a proč by to řekl.
Muzu se zeptat, co uroven myslite ze jste, a kolik věty rozumite na televizi?
Myzlim ze moje uroven je B1, ale když devam se na televizi rozumim pouze dvaset procent věty. Tenle je velmi frustrujici (hledal jsem na slovnik tenle slovo) pro mě. Casto se řikàm, když budu rozumet na televizi, nebo lidi na ulice? Nechapu

The reat of this explanation will be in English because I had a rough work at work ( came within a hair’s breath of firing a long standing employee) and this might turn into a long story. Never despair about learning Czech. You have chosen a difficult path and it will take lots of work. I always think of it as one step forward and 2 steps back so just enjoy the journey. Sometimes I understand the television , sometimes I want to throw pillows at it.
Tak,tady je kratka novela :)) The first day of summer school at Charles University , sweltering heat , and the students trudge into the steamy classroom I find my seat near the window, hoping to catch an errant breeze.Unfortunately another student had the same idea , but this “person” hadn’t bathed in a month. I made a wise choice and moved to a seat in the front.There, smiling at me was pani ucetelka.That knowledgable smile indicated that she too had gotten a whiff of my felllow classmate.Otherwise she appeared to be the essence of calm dignity and erudition.
Her smile disappeared quickly and was replaced by an eagle eye stare , which I would soon get to know quite thoroughly.She slapped her hands together with a thunderclap and scanned the classroom for an inattentive student. Finding none , she reached behind her and produced a newspaper.It was todays"Metro" the free give away rag that you can procure in the bowels of Praha’s subway system. Snapping it open she preceded to read. Like bullets from a machine gun her words flew at us.In this hail storm of verbiage I could decipher a few words, maybe pocasi , perhaps vedro. Otherwise it was a hopeless jumble. My classmates were equally nonplussed, blank stares adorned their moist faces.
Closing the paper she spoke the last words that she would utter in english during our month of class time , “That was the weather forecast for today. And that was in normal speed. Well, normal Czech speed for a television reporter.By the end of the month my goal is that all of you will understand every word of it”.
So don’t despair my friend , those students in the class were what you call B 1 level along with some b 2 's. Understanding “normal” Czech language speed is a daunting task. Notoriously Czech speakers will roll words together until a sentence seems like one “obrovsky slovo” This habit is especially unnerving for the learner.Frankly I don’t see where they get the air supply! My suggestion? Get on the internet and listen to Cesky rozhlas then compare it to something like Regina. You will notice a difference in speed. On Cesky rozhlas they tend to speak slower and more precisely. Just realize that it takes a lot of work and RELAXOVAT,Rome wasn’t built in a day.
Thanks for the motivation čistyzuby. Ironically the weather is the one thing I understand. I listen to it everyday. I was thinking of attending te summer course this year at Charlie Uni. I was out of work and wanted to focus on getting to B1. They even help with the exam don’t they. Do you think you went up a level? Instead I did a Couple of months at CLT 3 hours a day. It was less structured and we tenuously followed Krok za Krokem 2.
I read somewhere that it takes native English speakers twice as long to learn czech as it does italian spanish french german etc.
I’ll just keep slogging away. Good luck with yours too.
