Italki Plus & LingQ – How Does the Partnership Work?

Hello everyone,

I’m considering subscribing to italki Plus and noticed that LingQ is included as a partner platform. However, I’m unsure how this partnership actually works.

  • Does it provide full access to LingQ or just a discount?
  • Do I need to activate something separately on LingQ?
  • Are there any restrictions or limitations?

I’d appreciate any insights from those who have tried it. Thanks!

You have a three month access to Lingq. That’s all. It is explained somewhere in this page or from the page you are showing.

I did the Italki plus free beta and ended up not using it because it was useless. YMMV. The value in Italki is talking to natives, not quizzes about words that might have come up during a lesson, IMO.

Yes, I agree – the value of italki Plus alone is debatable. However, if a LingQ subscription is included – as it seems to be – that would make it worth it for me.

Unfortunately, neither italki nor LingQ provide clear details on how this works, which is why I made this post.

@SergeyFM Our partnership with iTalki applies to new users only, and gives them Free Trial period to try the app before committing long-term.
