If the audio exceeds 30 minutes—let’s say 31—the lesson fails to generate. Previously, I was able to import long audio transcriptions and they would eventually be split into two or more parts, but at least I could get it done. Having to do this manually is quite frustrating. Are there any solutions or workarounds?
Unfortunate. My workaround is to always provide the audio and transcript myself. I realize that’s not a great answer.
@martin_romangette Did you notice the issue with one specific audio or any longer audio?
Any audio which is +30 mins
@martin_romangette Thanks, I asked our team to look into it.
Is there any update? I am still not able to create new lessons with audios plus 30 minutes.
@martin_romangette Strange, we are unable to reproduce this on our end.
Can you try to reconvert your file to mp3 by using this online tool:
and then give it another try?
Alright, so it does work when the file is a mp3; it does not work when it is a mp4 ![]()
It gets automatically divided as I said (which I do not find a problem tbh)
@martin_romangette Great, glad to hear it worked.
Yup, it would be nice if it is solved with the mp3 file to avoid extra steps, though ![]()
@martin_romangette We don’t support mp4 format. Supported formats are .wav .m4a and .mp3
It is a m4.a format. The problem is still there
@martin_romangette Thanks, we’ll check that.
