The sidebar or rectangle on the right-hand side where the quick start guide or whatever word you’re looking at is located keeps getting stuck on a page screen that says ‘Loading…’ but never loads. I’ve noticed it happens when I click on a sentence or phrase that I’ve previously made a LingQ for. It normally goes away if you click somewhere else and then attempt to click on a word again.
Sorry to hear that. Does that happen in any lesson you use? Which browser are you on?
Yes it happens across different lessons and courses. I’m using Firefox 70.0.1 (64bit).
Strange, I can’t reproduce that on my end. I tested on Firefox, Chrome and Edge.
Can you please try to clear your browser’s cache and let me know if that helps? Also, if you can check on another browser and see if you have the same problem there, that would be great.
Yes, I just replicated it on chrome (which is a fresh install). I’m using Version 78.0.3904.108 (Official Build) (64-bit).
See the pictures I’ve added to the original post: one is using the same lesson but a different phrase and the other is using a phrase from a different lesson. I’m pretty sure that it’s caused by having given the lingQs created from those phrases a rating higher than 3.
Strange, I still can’t reproduce this, tested it carefully now, but even if I give saved phrase status 3 or 4 I can still highlight it normally and sidebar loads properly too.
If you still have the same problem, please send us an email to support(at)lingq.com We will need some additional information from you to figure this out. Thanks.
