No. Same for the read words counter.
I suspect one reason to not change this behaviour is to avoid cheating in the challenges.

If you spend a month in immersion in your TL country, or only read a book in your TL 3 hours a day on the beach for a week, LingQ will let you update its words- and listening-hours counters, but it won’t add any points for those days.
That’s one way to break a LingQ streak while actually working on your TL.
I’ve set my activity threshold to the minimum - 50 points -, so some days, to keep my streak, I just open LingQ for a few minutes and mark a few blue cognates as known.…

@len1984 That’s correct. As @alainravet1 explained, manually added time do not give coins rewards.
Does manually adding listening time not count towards the gold coin total? I added one hour of listening time, but the number of gold coins didn’t change at all.
