What English Sounds Like to Foreigners http://music.todaysbigthing.com/2009/11/03 http://bit.ly/brDwXT
“An Italian singer wrote this song with gibberish to sound like English. If you’ve ever wondered what other people think Americans sound like, this is it.”
That’s interesting
Another way to find out how your native language sounds, is to try to listen a conversation not too close, in the threshold that you can’t understand the meaning, but you can catch the pronunciation and intonation.
Adriano Celantano had a big hit in Germany in the 60s: una festa sui prati. I’m glad to hear that his voice hasn’t changed too much!
Is this the same singer?

Thank you for your comment. I remember watching the following Italian films.
LADRI DI BICICLETT
Il Ferroviere
Riso amaro
Ladri di biciclette ?
I remember doing the very same thing as a kid It has got harder later on though - as if the mind looses some of its abillity to analyze and mimic other languages when it settles on the few you’ve already learned.
