Is this a typo?

I was wondering if this is a typo or a variant. A ‘grove’ is a little forest/wood. To ‘groove’ means ‘to create a rut/groove’.
Quote: “You’ve got to grove that connection that you’ve made”…

I believe it is a typo. “you’ve got to groove that connection that you’ve made” would mean that you “practise” the connection and get more and more used to it. If it’s “grove”, then it doesn’t make sense.

No doubt a typo.
