Is it possible to improve English writing at home?

Hello everyone! I’m a primary school student. Everyone says I should practise to improve my writing skills. Can anyone suggest other opinions, or share an easier and faster way to get better at writing?

I’m embarrassed to admit it, but I learned a lot about writing from writing letters, emails, and blog comments. It helped me to have an audience to focus upon.

It can also be useful to freewrite – pick a topic, a thought, an experience and just write freely without editing. Later, when you get a sense of what you have to say, you can edit your writing. I found this useful as a young writer.

I’ve been using the new LynxAI, and it not only corrects grammar and spelling errors, it suggests better ways to phrase statements.

AI works really well with English. Write it down by hand and upload a picture to any AI like ChatGPT or Claude, and it should give you feedback that is decent enough.

Writing helps  You can use AI to practice writing and get feedback and corrections. For me personally my major improvement in the english language in general was me communicating on an almost daily basis in an internet forum. I’am not the social media guy, but I keep posting below youtube videos in the language I am currently learning from time to time.

I’m really enjoying the advice in this video. Short sentences taken from newspapers or news websites… studied and then copied. And then used to “reconstruct” other sentences or parts of sentences. It takes practice, but I’m seeing results.
