  • But, if you’re tech savyy, you can run Win / Win software on a Mac. See: https://www.howtogeek.com/187359/5-ways-to-run-windows-software-on-a-mac/
  • Or ask someone you know if you can use his / her Win computer. Then just install Kindle version 1.17 for Win on his / her computer, download all your Kindle books to an USB stick and convert them at home with Calibre.

Even though I select the option not to update automatically it seems to keep updating automatically. I can still always uninstall and re-download it and it works for a little bit before updating by itself again. Am I the only one?
