iPad app rocks, a fully implemented iPad app

Recently I started using an iPad after selling my old one some time ago. In general, I spend most of my time with Lingq on a mobile device.

Some app developers don’t bother implementing their iPhone app for the iPad. That’s unfortunate because it limits their usefulness. Yes they can be used on the iPad, but they don’t look great and window management is limited.

So I very much appreciate the Lingq app which is a fully implemented iPad app. Works great.

Oh yeah! I love the app on my iPad too. They need to add the different background colors like on the web version though, that’s my only gripe.

I really hope they don’t. Because we all know what will happen. They won’t test the colour combinations properly, which will render the reader unusable for days, like when the added the feature to the web version.

I like the iPad app as well. The only gripe I have is that the arrow keys don’t work when the keyboard is attached. It’s strange that other keys work, but not the arrows.

In the future, for me, it would be awesome if there were a box on the left or right in page mode so I could glance at the yellow/unknown word definition like I can in sentence mode, without clicking on the word itself every time.

We have added the color options to the Android app in the latest version. Could you try it out and let us know if it has issues?
