In the iOS app, can we please have the ability to copy the selected text to the clipboard?
When we select some text, we get the definitions pop up, and there are buttons to open the word/phrase in Google Translate or other apps.
How about an additional button here which is “copy to clipboard”?
I know there are workarounds, like open in Google Translate and then copy from there, but it’s fiddly.

Along the same lines:
If I select too much text, the selection disappears. I imagine this is to set a limit on the amount of text that can be processed for translation/lingq creation at any one time. However, I would still like to be able to copy text at that time too.

I copy text all the time to make flash cards while I’m reading. When you look up a word you just long press the word in the pop up and it lets you copy. The only issue I have is that it strips punctuation for some reason which makes copying sentences a pain.

A button instead of a long press would be preferable from a UX perspective. I’m using a stylus so it’s a bit fiddly to press and hold.
But given it’s at least possible, my main ask now would be the ability to select longer amounts of text at once.
If it is from content that you uploaded, you can copy text by editing the sentence.
