iOS 26, iPhone 12 mini: app crash (with solution)

Hi team,

update: removing and reinstalling the app (clear data) helped.

Today I updated my phone (iPhone 12 mini) with the latest iOS (26.0) and LingQ app (v5.8.0) crashes (tries to open, closes immediately) right after I click on the app icon. App worked before the upgrade. Other apps I use, like Duolingo, Imprint, Elevate… work just fine after the upgrade.

Power cycling the phone does not help.

Thanks. That fixed it for me.

We identified this bug and we will push a fix for this issue. In the meanting, for anyone affected, reinstalling the app will fix the problem.
