I just read a science article about the impact of indigenuous languages and medical knowledge. While we are losing languages, we are also losing knowledge that are unique to a certain society.

You see there is a saying which is true in every culture “Your dad is always right”. Imagine Korean language going extinct, we will be deprived of intelligent scientists working on cool technological tools.
