Improvements to and Feedback on LingQ's Interface Translations

I am a Traditional Chinese user. When I imported a lesson, the AI automatically generated a Full Translation, but it displayed “Simplified Chinese” instead. I have to manually select “Show Translation” for each sentence in the “Sentence View” to change the translation back to “Traditional Chinese.” This issue is quite frustrating for me.

Is it possible to correctly display “Traditional Chinese” in the “Translations” section of “Edit Lesson” based on the user’s language preference? Alternatively, can users choose whether to enable the Full Translation function?

Have you sent an email LingQ about this? What did they say?

@Obsttorte

The report button is for reporting an issue with a content item (course or lesson).

The issue might be problems with the lesson text or audio, or because the content is offensive… Or any other reason the user can think of. It’s meant for reporting content-specific issues rather than general bugs in the software.

@Misago Thank you for noting this, we will have it fixed

Regarding the Japanese language:
On the personal profile page timeline, the date format is incorrect.

Incorrect: 2月 10、2025の10:24
Correct: 2025年2月10日 10時24分
or
2025年2月10日 10:24

Same here: For German the date should be 03. Juni 2024 um 02:09 Uhr instead of Juni 03, 2024 um 02:09

The main text about the Hard Core 90-Day Challenge and all the other challenges in the German interface is in English.

@Fer.weh Thanks, we’ll look into this.

这个地方的翻译实在是太糟糕了,完全是错误的,它应该改为:“笔记”。

这里显示的是“笔记”的内容,那么就应该将这里的翻译同样改为中文:“笔记”

两个错误的翻译都是需要从“没有”改为“笔记”
