when I import a SRT file it first takes some time to show the edit screen and when it finally does there is a discrepancy between the content of actual file I uploaded and what LingQ shows me. This is insane. The purpose of importing is to be able to read your own material. Please give the user the ability to at least turn off this AI overhauling that seems to have been added there.

coud you tell me whether such an AI feature exists ? That is there to somehow transform or improve the imported file.
Can you tell me when this will be fixed ? Because I want to read content but it gets changed every time I import it.
Our development team is looking into it. I will let you know as soon as it’s fixed, but still can’t say for sure when it will happen.
