Recently I went back to study an old YouTube video I imported and I found it could not simply play the audio from the video. I could only play the video directly.
Has the ability to play just audio from an imported video been removed, or am I missing something?
You’re right! It’s been removed!
Mark Kaufmann has given insight into this - as the same question has already been asked in the forum. It violates YT terms and conditions and consequently it has been recently removed.
The good news is LingQ is working on it!

You could try one of the various youtube to mp3 conversion websites to grab just the audio mp3 and upload it to your imported lesson.
As mentioned in another thread here on the forum, it has been brought to our attention that having the audio ripped off violates Youtube’s Terms of Service.
