So I’ve been working on figuring out how to import things and whatnot, and I’ve come across a question. I know to make a lesson public that we need permission from the copyright holder. The question I have is for short stories or articles. I’ve found a couple of places that have complete collections of materials that I think would be great, but I’m not sure if that means the website owner is the copyright holder or if the material is free of copyright. How would I find out/know?

The best option in this case would be to contact site owners and ask them for permission to share the material from their site on LingQ.

You can also import every published article as a private lesson.
For the private lessons you needn’t to ask a permission if this article is published online or in print.
