I’ve been trying to import some videos from youtube, but I’m always getting the same error:

Error: Importing failed - ERROR: Unable to extract uploader id

Can someone help? Thanks.

Same problem.

It was working well before, I guess there is some global problem now.

I used google chrome extension, I tried to import youtube video.

Hi smstlfn, could you please share a link to YouTube video, which you are trying to import, as I tried 10 videos with LingQ Chrome extension and it is working for me.

I’ve got the same problem. It was working this morning. I just tried chrome and safari. Both are broken for youtube videos.

Having the exact same issue. It has nothing to do with the video being imported, as I just tried to import a video that I already imported and got the same error. I also changed the course it was being imported into just in case. Still failed.

I logged out and in and used different browsers. Same error.

Very clearly a problem with the plugin or the website.

I can’t import youtube videos by Chrome or Firefox. I can only do it through the app, but it doesn’t import with the original audio of the video

It’s official. I can’t import any video on any platform. This must be an account problem. Seems to be only specific users who can’t import.
