If importing lessons while signed into a YouTube account with Automatic Dubbing turned off, does it import ok?
Waiting for an extension/add-on for the browsers, I guess? (For also turning it off when signed out.)

I think it’s best to just download the video and import it directly to LingQ, if you are watching YT videos outside of YouTube, they will literally stop you from being able to disable the AI dub, it’s like they do this on purpose so you only watch the videos inside youtube, i dont know what is even the point of forcing people to use the poor quallaty ai voice but it is what it is.
I’m also having the same issue, with a french youtube video :- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jsXRL9ZksMM&t=8s
I’ve had this issue before with other YouTube videos also.
Why would a language app, convert the audio sound track ?
@Daleblue We are working on this issue and we will hopefully push a fix soon.
Just wanted to say I’m also experiencing this and it sucks ![]()

as a hint to your developer team.
embeding videos with hl parameter set to original language of video makes the dubbed audio go away
@pooyaestakhri Thanks a lot!
Hi @zoran Any update on this? This was first raised in March. Any ETA when it will be implemented ?
@Daleblue That specific issue has already been fixed on Web for Chrome, Firefox, and Edge. We will push a fix for the Safari browser and mobile apps.
