Import from Youtube - only video playing is possible

When importing from YT I only get the complete video and can play it in linq. But there is no possibility to use the text only and work with it as I was able before.

Am I doing something wrong?

Edit:
It seems, that I get only the video, I tried several different videos from different authors. This is not useful, the older ones have the options simple use the audio version without the video (which I prefer, especially when I want to hear/read text on my iPhone) and have the possibility to look for the words I don´t know.

Is it possible that someone from Linq can advise what can be done with this? This was possible in the past without a problem. I have no possibilities when importing to choose settings, I can only import the lesson and thats it. From the settings afterwards I found no option to set the text as audio what works. This is weird.

Hi,

This may not be the solution you’re looking for but it works.
What I do is create my own audio files and upload them to my imported lesson via “Edit Lesson”.

First I download the video to my computer using the 4K Video Downloader program.

Then I use VLC media player to convert that new video file into an mp3 file that I can upload to Lingq.

It’s a bit of a process but once you do it a couple of times it’s pretty easy
