is it possible to upgrade to a basic membership in iLingQ?
You upgrade on the LingQ site. Once you are a Basic or higher member you can download iLingQ and use it free of charge.
@ gizmo - It isn’t possible to upgrade on the iLingQ app but perhaps that is something we should look at.
@Mark it will be a lot easier for me as I can just by a gift card each month instead of using a credit card.
@gizmo - Unfortunately, the only way to charge on iTunes is by selling the app for a one time fee. We prefer that the app be free for our paying members. The only possible thing we could do is to add a link to somehow quickly take you to the Account page on our website so you can upgrade more easily. If you don’t want to use a credit card, you can sign up with a PayPal account. PayPal can take the money from your bank account or debit card. It just depends what you use for a funding source when you set up your account.
It is possible for in app purchases. Is their an age restriction on pay pal?
I am not aware of an age restriction for PayPal. I can also look into in app purchases but this is not something that would happen quickly.
