  1. If you travel abroad, “it will” or “you will” broaden your horizons.
    I’m not sure the subject I should use is “it” or “I” to go with broaden your horizons.

How about this one?
2) If you travel abroad, “you will” increase or gain a lot of knowledge about the world.
Is this one okay? or does it sound weird?

  1. Either is fine for me. Perhaps “it will” indicates that the travel itself is the driving force behind the changes, whereas “you will” indicates that you drive the changes as a result of travel, but essentially it’s the same meaning as I see it.

  2. It’s more or less OK. “…increase your knowledge of…” or “…gain more / a lot of knowledge about…”

Good questions!
This is how I would say it:
(Emphasis on travel): Traveling abroad will expand your horizons.
(Emphasis on you): If you travel abroad, you will gain a lot of knowledge about the world.
