If the youtube import doesn't work, the missing lesson stays in the course

It’s a really annoying bug that when a YouTube import has failed, the lesson remains in the course list and is impossible to delete. I try to delete it and it says lesson doesn’t exist, and from there on the option to remove isn’t there. Please fix this, it’s really untidy, confusing and really shouldn’t be happening. I left it a while to see if the error would fix itself but it hasn’t. Please fix ASAP.

EDIT: Also please let us cancel pending lessons!

Support is aware of this bug and replied to my email yesterday saying they are currently working on fixing it.

I really hope it is fixed for good this time because it is a well known bug that’s been around for a few years now. It got fixed sometime ago, but returned for reasons unknown.

I’ve reported this too, and also the fact that imports routinely fail. They say they are working on it, however other serious bugs are still unfixed. Rather than be unfair on LingQ, I will just say that I assume they are doing their best with available resources.

All my Youtube imports fail. In my case I am able to delete the lessons that failed to be generated from the course.

Sorry to hear that. I asked our team to look into this again. What browser/extension are you using?

I am using Brave which is Chromium based like Google Chrome. I’m using the official Chrome extension.I may try with a different browser as well. Also on importing through the ios app has the same problem. I suspect the problem could be at the backend though. The lesson is imported, it’s the processing that fails and as a result I can’t open the lesson.
