An interesting exercise – I now read subtitles aloud while watching English films I already know.
I find it more involving than letting the subs wash over me.
I notice the vocab and grammar better.
I get to work out my voice and pronunciation.
It’s actually kinda fun.
I read at an intermediate level and I have worked on my pronunciation a fair amount. I’m not sure this would have been a good exercise when I was more of a beginner.
